ORGANISED JOURNEY TO THE CROP CIRCLES IN ENGLAND

PROGRAMMA

On Friday 11 July 2008, we will meet at our hotel in Compton Bassett. You will have time and space to settle down in your room and to recuperate from your journey. The rooms of the 17th century White Horse Inn are beautiful, spacey, and quiet. They all have an en-suite bathroom. After having checked-in and getting acquainted and grounded, we can spend the rest of the day visiting our first crop formation. After your long journey, you can rest assured that this will be enough for your first day…

The next day, Saturday, will be focused on Avebury. We will visit the ancient and sacred stone circle of which they say: "If you compare Stonehenge with a church, Avebury is a cathedral". The humongous stones (one of which has an ancient inscription, only few people know where to find it!) speak for themselves. You will experience the powerful energy of the Michael & Mary leyline that runs right through the stone circle. There is more than just the stone circle in Avebury: For the more earthly things in life there are the Red Lion Inn and the Henge Shop (a beautiful New Age shop which has a large collection of books and jewellery). Furthermore, Avebury is a magnet for the crop circles; each year there are at least four formations around the stone circle. Naturally we will visit these formations; you’ll have plenty of time to see, feel, smell, touch, and experience each and every one of them. We’ll meditate, analyse, or dowse them and I will show you some of the biophysical anomalies that you heard so much about. In short: Saturday will be a real day in the fields!

On Sunday we will visit the Alton Barnes area: Milk Hill, Adam's Grave, Knap Hill, Woodborough Hill, and of course the most famous East Field that receives some of the best formations each year. The energy of the landscape will work with you, opening you up and inviting you into one of the greatest adventures in life… This is the place where most UFOs are seen and where the crop glyphs go back over many centuries, maybe even millennia… A great place to do a night watch! Once again we will visit a formation, no doubt there will be a fresh one just around the corner. And we will meet other researchers who will share their latest findings and discoveries with you. Afterwards, there will be time to relax and put your feet up. The English pubs are well known for their excellent meals (also for vegetarians!) for little money. Even though the large English breakfasts (price included in the tour) are probably sufficient to make it through the day, it will be wonderful to end the day with an excellent meal and a good glass of wine…

Monday will be focused on the Ridgeway: a gorgeous natural resort with famous crop circle sites such as Hackpen Hill and Barbury Castle where, on various occasions, balls of light were seen and filmed. The crop formations in this area are always – without exception – of the highest quality. For those who love history there will be information about these archaeological sites. For those who love nature there are excellent walking tracks, and for those who love crop circles there will be without a doubt - the most beautiful formations! Later that day, we will welcome one of my colleagues, Eva Brekkestö from Norway, who will share with you some very interesting information about snow and ice formations in Scandinavia.

On Tuesday we will visit two most fascinating places: Temple Farm and the magical Uffington. Temple Farm is a strange place on the map of Wiltshire, connecting various sites and buildings through sacred geometry. Temple Farm is placed right in the centre of this geometrical pattern like a sacred place, a final piece in the jigsaw puzzle. We will look into the connection between this site, the mysterious Knights Templar, and the crop circles.

Uffington is a breathtaking place where some of the most significant and complex crop designs appeared in the past. The geology of the place is quite obvious and awe-inspiring; the penultimate ice age pushes this land forward into a steep gorge. When the climate changed and the glaciers withdrew, this is where the ice reached it final destination. At the very end our ancestors built a mysterious hill called Dragon Hill. This is where Tolkien sat and received his inspiration to write the Ring Trilogy. Legend has it that Uffington – famous for its white horse, cut into the chalk hills many thousands of years ago and only to be recognised from the sky – is a portal to other dimensions. Some of the crop formations that appeared here over time showed wormholes, confirming the portal theory. A visit to this magical place and – with a bit of luck – to the fresh crop formations in this area will make this a day you will never forget…

Wednesday we will go and visit Glastonbury: the ancient Avalon. Famous for the presence of King Arthur, his Guinevere, the Knights of the Round Table, but also of Joseph of Artimethea and the young Jesus who visited ancient Avalon. Glastonbury is the place where the druids and priestesses were banned by the Christians. It’s the place where two worlds (the world of man and the one of elves, magicians, and wizards) were once one. Yet the arrival and dominance of the Christians tore these worlds apart until they became invisible to each other. However, the other dimension is still tangible. We will experience this as we visit the Tor (the entrance to the other world and the place where Guinevere was held captive), the Abbey (the monastery where the very first Christian Church of England was built and where Arthur and Guinevere lie buried), and the breath-taking Chalice Wells: the ancient wells with healing water. The Chalice Wells are the place to relax or meditate; the energy is beautiful and soothing. At the end of the day we will return to our hotel rooms… (For those who wish to have an easy going, worldly day, there are countless new age shops where you can buy the most beautiful souvenirs, hold on to your credit card!)

Thursday will be a relaxed day in and around Marlborough and Avebury. The day before and after will be quite intense, so a grounded day in between will be most welcome! Marlborough is an attractive medieval town, not just because of the abundance of typical English shops but also due to its energy. It is located in the very heart of the crop circle area and well known for other worldly visions and encounters. There are two beautiful churches, right on the Michael & Mary Leyline. Both are well worth visiting! North of Marlborough lies a vast forest, Savernake Forest, host of quite a few gorgeous crop formations in the last years.

Another site we will be focusing on on Thursday is the Long Barrow of West-Kennett and Silbury Hill. Silbury Hill is an ancient pyramid, many thousands of years old, of which very little is known. I can assure you that it is the most powerful and mysterious place I have ever visited, and can tell you quite a few things about this pyramid and the strange role of the British government. At the foot of Silbury Hill lies the Long Barrow of West-Kennett: the largest long barrow of Europe. On an energetic level, this site is strongly connected to Silbury Hill, which you will be able to feel and experience for yourself. It is one of my favourite places to do a night watch. No doubt, these ancient sites will be surrounded once again with crop formations, waiting for us with open arms…

Friday is going to be an intense field day. We will focus on the crop formations that are there and waiting for us. At this time of year, there will be many splendid glyphs in the fields. It takes time to visit them and feel them, not merely as tourists but as Experiencers. A day in the fields is a wonderful, grounding experience. And you can rest assured that you will need it too: the final day after all is one of activating the higher chakras!

Saturday is our last day. We’ll rise and check out early, as we will have to be at the stone circle of Stonehenge at 6.15 am! We will enter the circle of enormous stones and have it all to our selves for an hour in which we can meditate, feel, experience… simply BE… (This is a unique opportunity as the tourists always have to remain outside of the stone circle which makes it impossible to touch and feel the stones.) Let the energies work with you; this is an experience you will never forget…

Depending on how the day unfolds itself, we can then either visit Salisbury, its huge cathedral, Old Sarum, Woodhenge… or – if a new formation is reported this morning – drive back to the crop circles area and visit our very last one!

Then… it is goodbye. Always a sad moment, but you will feel how connected we have become in only 8 days: a bond that will always remain and something to truly cherish!

The following things can also be done, even though I haven’t explicitly mentioned them in the above:

Early Bird Ride: you can join me on my early morning trips, driving by the fields looking for new formations. This is the way to be the first to enter a fresh formation! Those who wish to lie in can be woken by our mobile phone connection.

Night watch: you can join me on a night watch or go on your own. During warm summer’s nights I will spend (part of) some nights on top of a hill (such as Silbury Hill or Knap Hill), hoping to witness mysterious balls of lights. I have seen quite a few in the past and was even as lucky as to be present on three different occasions when a crop circle was actually being formed…

Informal lectures of fellow researchers. This could be Bert Janssen, Andreas Müller, Eva Brekkestö, Andy Thomas, Mark Fussell and Stuart Dike (of the Crop Circle Connector), depending who is in the area during our stay. When these meetings and presentations will take place exactly is still unsure, since it all depends on what happens in the fields and on their busy agendas.

Manifestation experiments: we can do meditation-, creation-, and manifestation experiments as often as we like. Purpose: the (co-)creation of a new crop circle!

Microlight- or helicopter flights over the formations: to enjoy the beauty from above… If you wish to do this, I can arrange everything for you. It is however not included in the price of this journey, as it is quite expensive and not everybody will feel the need to do this.

It may be clear that this programme, as described above, is not rigid. In the event of sudden unexpected developments, such as the discovery of brand new formations, it may occur that we decide to change the programme slightly.
