Lichtverschijnselen

Another remarkable phenomenon that regularly appears while photographing crop circles, are the so-called light spirals, or energy spirals as many people refer to them. These light beams seem to have a spiraling movement. In most cases they were not seen by the photographers.

In 1993 American crop circle researcher Ilyes photographed this black band in different crop circles. At first she thought she had photographed the small strap that was attached to the camera. But when she checked her camera to see if that could have been the case, she noticed that her camera didn't have a strap. There was nothing that could have been in front of the lens.
