Are the crop circles a means to communicate with humanity?

number of pages: 3

Yes, I am convinced that this is the case. When you look at the formations, you can hardly conclude anything else. Apart from all the other functions and effects of the crop circles (think for instance of the energy input into the earth, etc.), I am convinced that they are indeed a means to communicate with us.

The language however still has not been decoded. And I truly doubt if we are dealing here with an ordinary language: a language that one day we'll understand and learn. There have been attempts however, for instance by the German researchers Koch and Kyborg, who put a formation in one of the fields in Wiltshire each year (with the farmers' consent) and then wait for a reply. They believe they have actually decoded the language of the ET Circle Makers and say they receive an answer every year. Personally I find their findings and opinions not very convincing.

In 1991 an American researcher flattened some crop at Alton Barnes (Wiltshire, UK) shaped as the letters: "TALK TO US". Several days later the following strange formation appeared:

Crop circle researcher, archeologist and founder of the CCCS (Centre for Crop Circle Studies), Michael Green, recognized these strange marks as an ancient Hebrew text. From right to left it reads: "Ptah" (Egyptian Creator God) and "Ea-Enki" (Sumerian Wisdom God). Dutch researcher Robert Boerman describes in his book "Crop Circles, Gods and their Secrets" how he intuitively felt that more information was hidden in the crop glyphs, and asked an Israeli friend for help. She confirmed Michael Green's findings, but added an old tric that was used quite often in the Middle Ages in order to hide information in texts, called anamorphosis: the turning of the text by means of a mirror. After she had carried out the mirror tric, the following text appeared: "Sewet chm anasim gadasim", or: "a new tribe of people". A translation that triggers many speculations, from extraterrestrial intervention (Nibiru, the twelfth planet?) to genetic manipulation of humanity, either in the past or in the future. Robert Boerman nicely elaborates the various possibilities in his book.

Researcher Gerald Hawkins translated the glyphs in a different way. He had them analysed by a linguistic software program. The computer came up with the translation: "I oppose work of confusion". This too is a very interesting possibility, especially bearing in mind the Crabwood formation of 2002. This formation showed an alien holding a disk in binary code. (See photograph bottom right). The translation was: "Beware the bearers of false gifts; their broken promises. Much pain but still time. Believe. There is good out there. WE OPPOSE DECEPTION. Conduit closing". (For more information about this remarkable formation, see "Are crop circles made by aliens?)".

Many formations are clearly recognizable to us. take a look at the following examples, most of which speak for themselves...

And so, many began to think there had to be a link with fractals and thus with Chaos Theory, with interferention patterns, DNA, the Kabbalah, animals, the earth magnetic field, our solar system, aliens, etc. etc....
