In 1998 I talked to a farm hand at Lockeridge (Wiltshire, UK) who told me that one day - back in the eighties - he was working in the fields. It was a beautiful summer's day. When he and his collegues went off to have lunch in their site hut, they were suddenly startled by a tremously powerful thrust of air. The shutters and door were shut with a blow. The farm hands ran outside to see what had caused this to happen, but they saw nothing. Everything looked normal, the sun shone like just before, the crop still looked fine.
