In 2006, I saw something I had never seen before:
2 'Ghosts' of one and the same crop formation.
The previous year, in 2005, this magnificent formation had appeared next to Avebury Stone Circle:
That autumn, the farmer harvested his field and after ploughing it, there was no visible trace left of that amazing crop formation. But a year later, after having sown new crop and a beautiful field of oil seed rape (canola) had appeared, the 'Ghost' of the formation appeared...
Caused by the radical changes in the crystalline structure of the soil - as a result of the intense energy input at the time of impact of the formation - the oil seed rape plants grew differently compared to the other plants in the field.
Two months later, early September, upon flying once again over that same field, to my surprise, I saw a brand new Ghost:
The farmer had harvested his oil seed rape and sown new crop. This new crop had only just started to germinate, but once again, the Ghost of the formation was clearly visible. These young plants were also influenced (retarded) by the changes in the crystalline structure of the soil.
Two Ghosts of one and the same formation. Each year has its own surprise, which always makes me smile. What a magnificent phenomenon...
