Atmospheric phenomena

In some cases, something interesting occurs above crop formations. A nice example is this small and very local rainbow right above a formation in Hoeven (NL) in 2002.

In 1998 a group of crop circle researchers witnessed a spectacular event in the clouds above the East Field at Alton Barnes (UK). During the sunrise on the winter solar solstice, a 'cloud formation' appeared above the field where - several months before - a beautiful seven-fold formation had been. A V-shape descended from the clouds, simply hung there for about half an hour, and then ascended again to blend wih the cloud cover...
